Traverso 0.42.0 is a GPL licensed, cross platform multitrack audio recording and editing suite.
You can record and edit sound using different tracks and shits, altering them in every conceivable way, changing their gain, volume, fades, track start and end, and lots of other settings.
You can record your own sounds, or import them into tracks and sheets. You can then mix them, superpose them, cut parts, mix them with another track, and many more things.
Traverso 0.42.0 allows you to manage each track independently, with Solo, Mute and Record buttons. You have a Capture and Master Out button for every track, too.
While you play a track (you´ll have to press space to do it), you will have a time indicator on the top of the screen. That way you can control exactly the duration of the track or effect you´re editing.
On your left, you would see two VU meters that will help you control the volume for each track, in order to normalize the output.
Once you´re satisfied with the result, you can export it to .WAV, .AIFF, .FLAC, WAVPACK or .OGG. |
